Doe a Deer, a Female Richard Nixon
This is a wonderful short story sent to me by Chelsea Leber, an acquaintance I met in Alaska twelve years ago. Her work challenges the classic American lit scene, but in a way free of pretense or irony. Miss Leber’s work serves as a neo-political lightning rod for all of those too scared to write about today’s social landscape.

DOE A DEER, A FEMALE RICHARD NIXON
The boat capsized after Milton tried to paddle it with his intense hard-on. Jane, his wife, had warned him about taking too many of those little blue pills. This time, he’d outdone himself. Always trying to prove himself, but now his penis was in trouble.
“Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!!!!!!” Milton yelled, to no one in particular. A tiny doe on a hillside overlooking the river looked on in sheer amazement, or maybe it was terror. The doe couldn’t decide.
You forgot to add the greatest story ever.
